High-priority publications and projects

Criteria for prioritization

The following criteria have been established for the prioritization of OIML publications and projects.

1. Recommendations with relevance to OIML-CS
   – based on number of certificates issued in the past
2. Publications where we expect “demand” in the future
   – based on:
   • needs of society
   • needs of Member States
   • needs of manufacturers (e.g. demand for certificates)
   • needs of CEEMS
3. Generic documents that cover a wide range of instruments
   – such as OIML D 11 and OIML D 31
4. Publications with relevance to the organization
   – such as B 6, D 30 and Vocabularies
5. Publications with relevance to RLMOs
   – such as those used for Normative Documents in the EU

The following list of high-priority publications (presented in alphabetical order) was approved by the CIML at their 60th Meeting (October 2025). It is unchanged from that approved by the CIML in October 2024.

– Latest edition published in 2024

– Latest edition published in 2021 so a periodic review is to be conducted

– Latest edition published in 2019 so a periodic review is to be conducted
