Airport transfers

To facilitate the necessary arrangements, all delegates are requested to share their flight itineraries in advance with Ashutosh Agarwal (WhatsApp: +91 98102 58127), CIML Member for India.

The transfers may be coordinated accordingly, with the cost of transportation to be borne by the respective delegates. 

 For the information of participants, the following transportation options are available from Indira Gandhi International Airport, Terminal 3, to The LaLiT New Delhi:

•  By road: The distance is approximately 20 km, and the journey generally takes 30–50 minutes, depending on the route and traffic conditions; the taxi charge from the Airport to the LaLiT Hotel is generally USD 10-20.
•  By Delhi Metro: The journey from Terminal 3 to Shivaji Stadium Metro Station via the Airport Express (Orange) Line takes approximately 21 minutes, with a fare of around USD 0.63.  Shivaji Stadium Metro Station is approximately 2.5 km from The LaLiT New Delhi, requiring about 5–15 minutes by car or taxi, depending on traffic (approx. USD 1.05).

Currency, Banking, Credit cards

The currency used in India is the Indian Rupee (INR).

All major credit cards are accepted and cash machines are readily available throughout India.

Electricity

In India, power plugs and sockets (outlets) of types C, D and M are used. The standard voltage is 230 V at a frequency of 50 Hz.

Insurance

It is strongly recommended that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover the duration of your visit to India and to protect you against cancellation charges, loss or damage to your luggage and personal effects, loss of cash and medical expenses.

Languages

The 61st CIML meeting will be conducted in English and simultaneous interpretation into and from French will be provided.

Delegates should please note that (as usual) no paper documents will be available for the CIML meeting; all the meeting documents will be made available for download via the CIML pages.
