Guidance on AI and legal metrology
The material presented here provides a starting point for people working in the field of legal metrology and seeking information and advice regarding artificial intelligence. The material addresses AI in measurement as well as AI in processes and services related to conformity assessment and legal metrology.. It is prepared and maintained by the DTG Subgroup "Guidance on AI", the main objectives of which are to:
- provide fundamental terminology on AI and machine learning,
- address topics such as regulation, standardization, risks and challenges, and
- foster interaction, collaboration, and training on AI.
The Subgroup therefore gathers material from – and seeks collaboration and exchange – within and beyond the OIML.
