Scope: The present Recommendation applies to BBR intended for the calibration, verification and engineering work in the production, maintenance and adjustment of reference and working radiation thermometers, thermal imaging instruments and radiometers in the temperature range from –50 °C to +2500 °C; it describes methods and procedures for their calibration and verification.
