An online e-visa system allows immediate obtention of a visa for holders of French and UK passports. The price for a multiple-entry visa valid for one year is 300 SAR (≈€75). Compulsory Saudi medical insurance is automatically added during the e-visa process, for an additional price of 95 SAR including tax (≈€24).

Colleagues at SASO are available on request to assist with visa enquiries. For the short list of countries for which nationals would not “normally” be accorded visas, SASO will handle requests to the Foreign Ministry on an individual basis. SASO has already provided the Saudi Foreign Ministry with a list of OIML Member States, and has been assured that there will no problems.
