The Report presented by Dr. Charles Ehrlich at the APLMF Meeting held in Singapore in November 2006 has been posted on the MAA pages.
Information related to the cost of the MAA has been added.
This page has been updated following the signature of the R 60 and R 76 DoMCs and the 41st CIML Meeting decisions.
This heading has been added and will give updated information on the process of the MAA.
The previous two pages The MAA in short: Q & A and Issuing Authorities FAQ have been combined into one page headed MAA: Questions and answers.
Some of the questions have not been included since the information is now available in the OIML MAA 01 Document Operating rules of the Committee on Participation Review and of Declarations of Mutual Confidence.
Some answers have also been updated in view of the experience gained with the first two DoMC signatures.
The MAA presentation given at the 41st CIML Meeting in Cape Town has been posted on the MAA pages.
The synthesis of those CIML Decisions which directly relate to the MAA has been updated to take into account the 41st CIML decisions.
R 76 DoMC has been revised to correct the name of the Testing Laboratory in the Republic of Korea. R 76 DoMC rev.1 has been published on the OIML web site. Considering the nature of the modification, R 76 DoMC rev.0 has been removed from the OIML web site.
The CPR pages have been updated considering the signature of the first two DoMCs and their presentation
has been reviewed consequently.
A revised draft of the MoU between ILAC and the OIML has been posted on the CPR pages according to the comments received by ILAC Members.
This Circular informs Member States and Issuing Authorities on the signature of R 60 and R 76 DoMCs.
R 60 and R 76 BIML summaries of signed registration forms have been drawn up and posted on the MAA pages together with
their annexes. These summaries are the official publications of R 60 and R 76 DoMCs.
The table which summarizes Standards and Documents developed by ISO/CASCO on Conformity Assessment has been updated.
ISO/IEC 17021 was published on 15 September 2006 and cancels and replaces ISO/IEC Guide 62:1996 and ISO/IEC Guide 66:1999.
A Technical Corrigendum to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 was published on 15 Agust 2006.
The timetable related to the R 60 and R 76 Declarations of Mutual Confidence has been updated.
Additional information related to potential Participants has been posted on the CPR pages. The presentation of the lists
of Potential Participants in R 60 and R 76 DoMCs has been reviewed.
The presentation on the OIML MAA given by the OIML at the 91st Annual Meeting of the National Conference on Weights and Measures
has been posted on the MAA Pages.
The General Information and the composition of R 60 and R 76 CPRs have been updated.
The missing additional information has now been received from potential Issuing Participants; this information
is therefore now complete.
The CPR pages have been updated with the Draft Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ILAC and the OIML and with
the minutes of the ILAC/OIML Meeting held on 4 May 2006.
The additional information received from the potential Issuing Participants since 12 May 2006
has been added to the CPR Pages.

The synthesis related to International Standards applicable to conformity assessment has been updated.The
ISO/IEC 17021 Genral requirements for bodies operating assessment and certification of management systems is expected
to be published in July 2006. It will replace ISO/IEC Guide 62.
The CPR pages have been updated with the minutes of the second R 60 and R 76 CPRs' Meeting.
Further to a request of manufacturers in 2005 during the International Congress of Metrology, a forum has been
developed on which dicussions threads are available to everybody.
Two PowerPoint presentations related to the MAA have been added. The first was given to the UNECE
in October 2005 and the second was given to the ILAC-ARC Meeting in February 2006.
